Background / Need:

This was a brand new construction project, involving the building of a brand new Energy Centre. Our overview for this project was for us to install all of the new plant and pipework including the bracket support system within the empty plant room of the energy centre.

Most of the pipework was 100mm iron pipe which was fabricated and painted at our premises in Fareham and delivered to the site, ready for our installers to start work. We installed flanges and valves just outside of the plant room for other workers to conveniently connect on to for supply to the rest of the building.

Within this project we had to connect 2 550kw boilers, 2 plate heat exchangers, 1 4000ltr buffer vessel and connect to a combined heat power unit, with various zoned pump sets taking the water out of the plant room.

All of the work was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of the client.
