Background

The client required us to replace the 4 worn gas boilers and associated pipework and equipment and replace with new within the ‘G’ Block plant room.

Summary / Solution

We installed temporary branches to accommodate temporary external boilers and uplifted the 4 existing worn boilers for disposal.
The boilers, pumps, valves and differential pressure switches were all replaced with new

We installed new branch gas meters to each boiler and replaced the side stream unit. The communal stack flues were replaced with new.
All new pipework was insulated with foil-faced fibre insulation with an external covering of aluminium.
Finally we repaired and repainted the existing gullies, gratings and the floor area. All works were tested and commissioned.
