The client asked us to address the issue of their old booster sets in their plant room, which were leaking and failing. The works had to be completed out of hours so that their services were not interrupted or negatively impacted in any way. We were also asked to install high and low levels alarms onto the water tank that fed the booster set.

Our work involved draining down the system and arranging for the electrics and old high/ low level alarms located in the water tank to be disconnected from the old booster set.

We removed the old pump and while the base was clear we cleaned and re-painted it. We installed a new booster set and new high/ low level alarms. Then the electrics were connected to the new equipment.

The system was filled and checks made for any potential leaks. We also checked that the low level alarm was operational, which protects the pump from running dry if the water in the tank runs out. Finally we commissioned the booster set and demonstrated the operation to the client.
